Upazila-based health service program planning, implementation and reporting organization under the Directorate of Health under the Ministry of Health and Family Planning, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.Under it there are 7 Union Sub-Health Centers, 13 Union Health and Family Welfare Centers, 59 Community Clinics. This institution is engaged in health care of about 657032 people in Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila. Apart from providing health services, EPI vaccination of 11544 children aged 0-1 years, TD vaccination of teenage and pregnant women is provided from this institution.Moreover, various health-related activities are conducted by various levels of officials and employees other than conducting health education programs, conducting junior doctor programs, conducting deworming programs, conducting various training programs.
